Delta is a 19yo Bay Standardbred mare with a solid build. She retired from racing in October 2006 after having only 16 starts and earning just over $1000. She has since been used as a recipient mare for a Hanoverian Stud, where she has carried several foals for their breeding program over many years. Delta is now too old to be used for the Studs breeding program, and her owners would love to see Delta find a loving home. Delta is good to handle, catch, shoe, worm and float etc. She is in wonderful condition, in excellent health, and has been well cared for during her time in the breeding program.

Hi Future Owner!
I have been doing an important job, being mummy to some Hanoverian babies but I now need to find a loving home for my retirement. I am good to handle, catch, shoe, worm and float and I am in wonderful condition, nice and healthy. I would be great to be either a paddock companion, or you could even start teaching me some ground work with a view to starting under saddle!
