Beau is a lovely 6yo Bay Gelding who retired from racing in September 2020 after being lightly raced, having 31 starts and winning just over $12,000. He retired due to not wanting to try and is sound and in good health. Beau is very quiet, with a sensible nature. His owner describes him as very laid back, almost lazy. He is very good to handle, worm, catch, shoe and float and has no behavioral issues or vices. Beau has not been started under saddle, but would not take much for someone with experience to start and begin training in their desired discipline.

My name is Beau and until recently I’ve been racing. But I’m not really into it, if you get my meaning. I’ve been told I’m very laid back, which may, or may not be code for ‘lazy’. The upside is that I’ve retired sound and in good health. I’m a very good boy and although I haven’t yet been started under saddle, I think that someone with experience will be able to help me transition to my new equestrian career.
