About Master
Master is a 9yo Brown/Black Standardbred gelding with a very sweet nature. Master retired from racing in August 2021 after having 122 starts and earning just over $141,000.
He retired due to a suspected suspensory injury and owners did not want to risk further injury by continuing to race him. Master has since been vet checked and deemed sound and healthy.
Master has a very friendly and lovable nature, and is good to handle, shoe, worm, float and do anything with. Master gets on with other horses and likes to have a companion (will call out if left alone).
He has been exposed to farm machinery, vehicles, other animals and children. Master has not been started under saddle but would not take much to start.
He is a sensible and well mannered horse.He is well behaved in the gig and would excel in pleasure harness, but would also suit showing, dressage, or pleasure/trail riding once he is educated in his chosen discipline.
