About Captain
Captain is an 8yo Bay Standardbred gelding with a very sweet & kind nature.
He retired sound from racing on 22 October after having 72 starts and winning just over $90000.
Captain has a lovely nature, and is well mannered and good to handle, shoe, worm, tie-up, float and do anything with. Captain has been exposed to farm machinery, vehicles, other animals and children and takes everything in his stride.
Captain has not been started under saddle but would not take much to start with someone that has experience. He is a sensible horse and is a quick learner. He would excel in pleasure/trail riding, but would also suit showing or dressage once educated in his chosen discipline. Captain’s owners would love to see him find a loving home where he can find his purpose in life.
