About Sunny
Sunny is a 9yo Standardbred gelding, with a lovely nature.
He retired from racing in July 2022, after having 114 starts and earning just over $154,000. Sunny raced as a trotter, not a pacer. He retired due to back tendon injuries which have now healed after having 6 months off to rehabilitate.
Sunny is good to handle, catch, float, worm, shoe etc. He has been exposed to dogs, farm animals, machinery, vehicles and children and is good paddocked with other horses.
Sunny has had lots of groundwork in preparation for ridden work and has been ridden bareback in a round yard with no issues but has not been started under saddle. He will need someone with experience to further educate him in his chosen discipline.
Sunny is in good health and is sadly needing to find a new home due to his current families change of circumstances.
