About Mach
Mach is a 13yo Bay Standardbred mare who retired from racing in September 2013 after only having 6 starts and earning just over $1300. She retired sound, just not cut out for racing.
For the past 8 years, Mach has been a dedicated broodmare, bringing four beautiful foals into the world. Now, she’s looking to embark on a different journey and share her companionship with someone special.
Mach is good to handle, shoe, worm, tie up, float and do anything with but can be a bit standoffish until she knows she can trust you. She has been exposed to farm machinery, vehicles, other animals.
Mach is in good health, but does have Qld Itch so requires someone with knowledge on managing this to keep her comfortable. Mach has not been started under saddle, and would require someone with experience to guide her through this new chapter. With the right person, she has the potential to become a fantastic riding companion.
