About Glen
Glen is a 7yo Brown Standardbred gelding who retired from his racing career in January 2024 after having 100 starts and earning $137,141 for his owners. He retired sound, just had enough of racing.
Glen’s owner says he is a pleasure to have around, a real gentleman and is such a willing boy with a heart of gold. He is very well mannered and excellent to handle, shoe, worm, tie up, float and do anything with. He has been exposed to farm machinery, vehicles, other animals and children with no issues.
Glen has not yet been started under saddle, but his owner believes he will take to it quickly with the right guidance, he’s a blank canvas waiting for someone to shape his riding career. Glen would thrive in a home where he receives plenty of love, attention, and gentle training.
