In preparation for the 2024 SAQ Showjumping Gala to be held on Saturday 20th July 2024 at the SAQ home grounds at the Marburg Showgrounds, the SAQ organized a showjumping clinic on the 6th of July, featuring coach Poppy Gamble. Participants were grouped based on their jumping levels and enjoyed a one-hour lesson per pair. Thanks to the efforts of Emily Turner, Leanne Williams, and Poppy Gamble, the event ran smoothly, with the canteen also open for everyone to enjoy.
Throughout the morning, Poppy eagerly shared her expertise with the riders and their horses, tailoring her coaching to each individual’s ability. She provided guidance and encouragement, fostering a supportive environment. Poppy’s calm demeanor helped boost the riders’ confidence, evident in the smiles they had as they left.
The feedback from participants has been overwhelmingly positive, and we look forward to hosting another clinic with Poppy in the future.
