About Mick
Mick is a 12yo Bay Standardbred gelding who retired from racing in December 2017 after having 48 starts and earning just over $14,000.
He retired sound, due to his trainers health issues, and has been enjoying retirement at his owners property. This property has recently sold forcing the family to sadly have to find a new home for their much loved boy.
Mick is well mannered and good to handle, shoe, worm, tie up, catch, float and do anything with. He has been exposed to farm machinery, vehicles, other animals and children with no issues. He can be a bit stand-offish until he gets to know you.
Mick has not been started under saddle but would not take much to start with someone with experience. He would be suited for showing, pleasure/trail riding, dressage, jumping or pleasure harness once educated in his chosen discipline.
