Wow! January sure did fly past! Showing season is kicking off and it’s an exciting time of year for so many; making goals, setting intentions, dreaming of a year filled with making memories on horseback.

Our home grounds are looking immaculate, ready to start the year.

We have been successful in obtaining a grant from QRIC and Melissa is just waiting for the paperwork to finalise everything. This will see a new dressage arena or 2 coming SAQ’s way, making a big difference to the time spent setting up before our annual dressage extravaganza.

We have a lot to get through tonight so I’ll keep it short and sweet.

I’ll leave you all with a little advice to carry with you throughout this year…

RULE CHANGE COMING

With the phasing out of freeze branding, owners entering Standardbred and partbred Standardbred horses in breed classes at agricultural shows and other equine events across Australia, where breed is relevant, must be current financial members and horses registered with the home state’s Standardbred Pleasure and Performance Horse Association.
