Important Update: New Entry Point for SAQ Club Grounds
The SAQ Committee has recently undertaken a risk assessment regarding entry to the club grounds. This process is part of our ongoing commitment to safety, security, and smooth event operations for all members, competitors, and visitors.
As a result of this assessment, we are implementing a new entry procedure. Effective immediately, all members and competitors are required to enter the club grounds via Gate 3 located on Queen Street at the southern end of the Marburg Showgrounds.
Why the Change?
The decision to designate Gate 3 as the primary entry point is based on several key safety considerations:
✅ New visitors to our grounds – New visitors to our grounds may not be aware of the potential hazards they may encounter when accessing our grounds via Gate 1.
✅ Traffic Flow & Safety – Gate 3 provides a safer and more controlled entry, reducing congestion and potential hazards, particularly around the campgrounds and MPA activities.
✅ Horse Welfare – The new entry point eliminates risk to horses coming and going from the harness racing track.

🔹 Gate 3 is signposted for easy identification.
🔹 All competitors, members, and event attendees are to use this entry.
🔹 Please adhere to posted speed limits.
