About Odin
Odin is a kind hearted rising 9 year old Bay/Brown Standardbred gelding who retired from racing in May 2023, earning just over $9300 for his connections.
With a soft nature and a steady temperament, Odin has a lot to offer someone looking for a laid back equine friend.
On the ground, Odin is a breeze to handle, he is well behaved for the farrier, easy to catch, happy to float, worm, and tie up without fuss. He is also experienced around farm equipment, other animals, vehicles and children, taking everything in his stride.
Odin was started under saddle a few years ago, and is very quiet and willing, but is still very green and requires someone to put more miles into him.
He would benefit from a knowledgeable, gentle hand to help him ease back into work, or he would be just as happy enjoying a peaceful life as a companion horse.
Odin is being rehomed due to a change in his owner’s circumstances and is seeking a home where he can be valued and cared for.
