Remy is a 14yo Bay Standardbred mare who was broken to harness but never raced. She was rehomed through our Adoption Program in 2010 and has been with the same family for the past 9 years, where she has been a loved member of the family, entertaining them with her quirky personality. Remy is good to handle, catch, shoe, worm and float (has not been floated for 9 years). She can be a little pushy at times, but can easily be reminded of her manners. She can be paddocked with other horses, but is dominant.
Remy has not been started under saddle but has had someone sit on her with very little fuss. She has had a previous stifle issue, which has been addressed with body work and will require further follow up, otherwise, she is in good health. Sadly, Remy is needing to be rehomed due to owners ill health.

Hi Future Owner!
Can you help me, I’m looking for new digs? My family are really sad, they’ve loved me for the past 9 years, but sadly they have health problems of their own and so I need to move on.
They tell me that I’m a good girl because I’m good to handle, but sometimes I need to be reminded not to be too pushy. I haven’t actually been ridden, but I didn’t care when someone sat on me so I reckon that I could do it if you are patient and willing to spend the time training me.
