About Duke
Duke is a 4yo Bay Standardbred gelding with a very sweet & kind nature.
Duke was broken to harness but never raced as he was unable to pace due to a leg injury he sustained as a foal. He owners treated this injury under the guidance of their vet and he has since been deemed sound and healthy.
Duke has a lovely nature, and is good to handle, shoe, worm, tie-up, float and do anything with. Duke likes to be with other horses and is currently running in a paddock with several other older horses.
He has been exposed to farm machinery, vehicles, other animals and children and takes everything in his stride. Duke has not been started under saddle but would not take much to start with someone that has experience.
He is a sensible, well mannered horse and is a quick learner. He would excel in pleasure/trail riding, but would also suit showing or dressage once educated in his chosen discipline.
Dukes owners would love to see him find a loving home where he can find his purpose in life.
