About Susie
Susie is a stunning 14yo Black Standardbred mare with a very sweet & kind nature.
She was broken to harness but never raced. She has been well looked after and has spent the last 11 years as a broodmare, having 4 foals who are all currently racing for her current owners.
Susie has a lovely nature, is very human friendly, well mannered, good to handle, worm, tie-up and easy to catch and her character makes her a family favourite. She has been exposed to farm machinery, vehicles, other animals and children and takes everything in her stride.
Susie has not been started under saddle but often had her little humans sit on her back. She would not take much to start with someone that has experience.
Due to a change in circumstances, Susie’s owners would love to see her find a loving home where she can find her new purpose in life.
