About Jasper
Jasper is a 9yo Bay Standardbred gelding who only just retired from his racing career on 20th February, 2024 after having 69 starts and earning $180,845 for his owners. He retired sound, he has just had enough of racing.
Jasper’s owner says he is a pleasure to have around, a real gentleman and is such a willing boy with a heart of gold. He is very well mannered and excellent to handle, shoe, worm, tie up, float and do anything with. He has been exposed to farm machinery, vehicles, other animals and children with no issues.
Jasper has not yet been started under saddle, but his owner believes he will take to it quickly with the right guidance, he’s a blank canvas waiting for someone to shape his riding career. Jasper would thrive in a home where he receives plenty of love, attention, and gentle training. Whether you’re an experienced rider or looking to start your equestrian journey, he’s ready to be your faithful companion.
